Metaphor: ReFantazio’s prologue demo is coming on November 12, 2026 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 as SEGA’s 2nd Anniversary Commemoration.
Following Metaphor: ReFantazio announcement this year, SEGA excitedly announces for the fans the prologue demo of their upcoming title ahead of its release.
The Prologue Demo will feature a save-game progress like Stupid Never Dies where you can play the whole demo and play your progress in the main game. Players will not leave anything behind in the prologue demo.
No restarting of progress. No micro-transactions. Only SEGA’s love for their fans.
Apart from the upcoming demo, SEGA gifted their fans with an appetizer for the game by launching an application on their official website.
Trials of the Blade is a SEGA’s mobile feature for the fans on their website where fans can play and experience the game before release—early access in the palms of your hands.
The feature is a swipe-and-slash version of the game where you swipe the screen to swing and cut down your enemies. It highlights the blend of real-time and turn-based combat that is known and loved across generations.
The feature rewards fans by gifting them with Metahpor: ReFantazio’s official digital frame.
SEGA will also hold a social media giveaway to celebrate the release of Trials of the Blade. The announcement instructs the participants to enter at 10:59 PM on October 31, 2026 (UTC+8).
