JAM Concert returns for the flagship event of Cosplay.PH this coming weekend covering 3-days from October 02 – 04, 2026, for Cosplay Mania‘s 18th year. We are going to be graced by three different artists for this event’s line-up, from Nami Tamaki, MindaRyn, and ZAQ. For this article, we will be highlighting Thailand-based singer, MindaRyn.
MindaRyn is a Thai YouTuber and singer who is affiliated with Yoshimoto Entertainment Thailand and signed to Lantis. She started gaining attention after covering anime theme songs on YouTube which followed through her debut as a solo artist with the release of her debut single “Blue Rose Knows” for the TV Anime Adaptation of light novel series Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko back in 2020.
We were given a chance by Cosplay.PH before the event to ask 3 questions before our reunion with MindaRyn after exactly 4 years in the same event.
Question: From your discography, is there a song you can associate to the Philippines, kind of like “it gives a PH vibe”, since you have already performed here in the past decade?
MindaRyn: I think it would be “Miracle soup.” The song is about people whose hearts remain connected even when they’re far apart. It carries the feelings of meeting someone, having to say goodbye, and holding on to the promise that someday, you’ll meet again.
That feeling really reminds me of the Philippines. We’ve had to spend time apart since the last time I was here, but now I finally get to see everyone again. It makes the meaning of the song feel even more special to me.
I’m really, really happy that we can meet again today.

Question: As you have already had performances here in the Philippines a couple of times already, what is your “to-go food” whenever you land here in the Philippines?
MindaRyn: Jollibee, definitely! I love it so much that I honestly want to beg them to open a branch in Japan. I still haven’t found any fried chicken in Japan that I like as much as Jollibee!
And whoever came up with the idea of eating fried chicken with gravy — and serving it with rice too — is an absolute genius. [laughs] It’s such a perfect combination. So whenever I come to the Philippines, Jollibee is definitely one of the first things I want to eat.

Question: With now more than a decade from just starting in Youtube, what would you say, is the milestone in your career that made you realize, “this is it, I made it and I wanted to do more”?
I think the first big milestone was when I got to sing my very first anime theme song. For an otaku girl like me, being able to sing for an anime was such a huge dream. When it finally happened, I remember thinking, “This is already such an incredible milestone for me.”
And once that dream came true, I really wanted to protect it and keep moving forward. Even now, every time I get a new anime or game tie-up, I still feel that same way. I never want to take those opportunities for granted.
Another huge milestone for me was performing at ANISAMA as part of the official lineup. That was something I honestly didn’t even dare to dream about. I used to be one of the people sitting in the audience, looking up at that stage. So to one day stand on that same stage myself and see the sea of penlights inside Saitama Super Arena from that perspective… it was absolutely incredible.
Those moments made me feel how far I had come, but at the same time, they also made me want to keep going and see how much further I could go.

We at SetsuAni would like to thank Cosplay.PH for letting us ask questions to MindaRyn before our awaited reunion with her this Cosplay Mania 2026 this October 02 – 04, 2026, and letting us be one of their trusted media partners for this year’s series of events.
