Sonic Rumble Party: Half Anniversary Is Here With New Features To Love

Manila, Philippines — Sonic Rumble Party’s Half Anniversary event is now available on iOS, Android, Google Play Games, and Steam this April 22, 2026 with cool new features for the beloved players’ experience.

SEGA celebrates Sonic Rumble Party’s anniversary six months away from its real anniversary, brilliantly named “Half Anniversary”. It features cool new skins from the 2025 Skin Design Contest and from the Wasteland theme, and a series of revivals for Sonic’s 20^th anniversary contents.

SEGA released a Spotlight video of the Half Anniversary with the latest information about the anniversary, while further updates are scheduled on May 5, the official anniversary of the Half Anniversary.

Design Contest Winner Pounce Shadow Debuts

Pounce Shadow is now available in-game. The winning entry from the user-driven Skin Design Contest can be obtained in the Red Star Ring Shop from April 22 at 5:00 PM to May 27 at 5:00 PM (UTC+8).  

The official Sonic Rumble held a community-driven contest in 2025 on the game’s official Discord channel. A poll was introduced to all members after the submissions shortly after its start on September 8, 2025, the choosing the claw-conquering Cat Shadow by the designer Baity. 

Half Anniversary Wasteland Event

To celebrate the Half Anniversary, a mission event themed around Wasteland will run from April 22 at 5:00 PM to May 13 at 5:00 PM (UTC+8).

• Season Pass Reward
  Two types of passes will be available. The Free Pass contains the Green Runner Chao Buddy, while the Premium Pass includes the Wasteland Shadow Skin and the Wasteland Chao Buddy. Exclusive icons and effects are also available as mission rewards.
• Red Star Ring Shop Lineup
  Five new Skins fitting the event’s theme—Wasteland Surge, Wasteland Metal Sonic, Wasteland Knuckles, Wasteland Zavok, and Wasteland Zazz—will join the shop lineup!

Red Star Ring Shop Updates & Revivals

Starting April 22 at 5:00 PM (UTC+8), special items from the Shadow the Hedgehog 20th Anniversary Contents will return to the shop.

The Half Anniversary Bundle featuring the Emerl Skin and Doom’s Eye Buddy will be available. Additionally, the Motorsport Shadow Skin and Mini ARK Buddy will return to the shop lineup.

Sonic and the Secret Rings Event

The mission event inspired by Sonic and the Secret Rings remains available until May 5 at 5:00 PM (UTC+8).
