MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Brace yourself for the king of monsters as Godzilla rips and roars at select SM cinemas October 14–20 for the first-ever, highly anticipated Godzilla Film Festival.
From epic monster showdowns and city-smashing destruction to Millennium-era adventures and the critically acclaimed modern reimagining of Shin Godzilla, each film offers a different look at the character who has remained one of cinema’s most enduring icons.
Five era-defining classics return to the big screen for an exclusive one-week engagement: the iconic creature battles of Mothra vs. Godzilla (1964) and the destructive spectacle of Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989), to the Millennium-era adventures of Godzilla 2000: Millennium (1999) and Godzilla: Final Wars (2004), and the modern reimagining of Shin Godzilla (2016).
The festival, presented by Go Asia Entertainment, brings together these five distinct chapters in Godzilla’s cinematic history.
The franchise’s fandom continues to bring people together at pop-culture events where fans share their appreciation for the classic and contemporary characters.
