The rainy season has slowly enveloped the skies of the Philippines, but the radiance of summer from Cosplay.PH‘s previous Anime and Cosplay Expo last July 18-29, 2026 has not ended yet, as we get a chance to get to know Thailand’s very own CMYK Cosplay.
Setsu-Ani was given a chance to submit three questions that we can ask of him to get to know him more. As the team is known for its Cosplay Spotlight segment, we decided to submit three (3) of difficult questions (as said by our past featured guests) for CMYK to answer.

Question #1: We discovered that you are also a photographer, what would you advice to photographers to capture or get the best composition one can do to bring out the best in a cosplayer?
CMYK: What makes cosplay photography unique is that sometimes you have to break traditional photography rules to truly connect with the character. Studying the character’s story and details is the key for a cosplay photographer.
Question #2: What anime or game series had the huge impact on who you are today, can you share us the lesson you learned from it?
CMYK: Definitely One Piece. It impacted me deeply and made me cry so many times. The characters’ back stories show how everyone goes through hard times as they grow, and sometimes they get accepted by people. So I feel having a group of friends or a community that truly accepts and understands you is pure happiness.

Question #3: If there is a manga series that hasn’t received an anime adaptation yet but you’ve been reading religiously, which character from a series you would want to cosplay?
CMYK: Most of the manga I love have already been adapted into anime, but one series I really adore in Zone-00. The character designs are amazing! I’ve cosplayed a few characters from it before, but in the future, I’d love to cosplay Senryou– he’s super cool, and he’s a cat!.

What did we learn?
As someone who has been behind and in front of the camera lens, CMYK’s short advice on being a better photographer in the cosplay scene shows how composition comes to life by knowing the character being portrayed by the person in front of the lens and the proper execution by the one capturing the moment.
Connection has also been a key point in his answers which comes into full circle in creating an impact. Finally, everyone agrees that cats are awesome!~
