Cosplay.PH brought a shining, shimmering, and splendid celebration with their fifth installment of the “Prism Saga”, CosMeet 2026 — “Shimmering Sapphire”, last October 24-25, 2026, at Cove Manila, Okada Manila, New Seaside Drive, Entertainment City, Parañaque City, Philippines.
Let us take a look at Setsu-Ani’s take on the shining, shimmering two-day event Cosplay.PH has brought to us.
CosMeet 2026’s Event Highlights
CosMeet is now in its fourth year, returning to Cove Manila after a year since CosMeet 2024, and its second consecutive year as a free event following CosMeet 2025, which was held at the Crystal Pavilion last year before the ongoing renovation of the said venue.
For the first time, Cove Manila included the bar area as the stage for Cosplay.PH’s stage presentation for the two-day event: the bar’s stage layout was unique and does make for great visuals when taking shots for the stage events.
We also managed to catch a glimpse of the stage activities for both days, which include: Ready, Set, Auction, Anisong it, Duo Dash, the GICOF stage presentation, the Solo Cosplay Catwalk: Supernatural Edition, and Geo Hunter, as well as both MiQx’s and ShounenJam’s special intermission performances.
CosMeet 2026’s Special Guest Cosplayer and All-Star Avenue
Aside from the stage activities, we managed to catch a glimpse of the special Q&A segment with Cosplay.PH’s special guest cosplayer, Weian Vann!
Of course, CosMeet 2026 wouldn’t be complete without its All-Star Avenue Cosplayer Line-up. As once again for the first time, Cove Manila included the Cabana area for the All-Star Avenue, which makes a unique setup for it, having two floors and the red curtain backdrops.
Special Announcement for Cosplay Camp and Cosplay Matsuri 2026
As CosMeet 2026 comes to a close, they have announced two more events: first is the return of Cosplay Camp — “Multiverse Beyond”, which will be held on November 13-15, at the 3rd Floor, East Wing, Festival Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines, and second is the sixth and final conclusion event of the “Prism Saga”, Cosplay Matsuri 2026 — “Astral Amethyst”, which will be held on December 28-30 at Function Rooms 2-5 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City, Philippines, with Cosplay.PH announced their final special cosplayer guest of the year, as he returns to the Philippines: Shookoboo.
Final Overall Thoughts for CosMeet 2026
The Prism Saga has achieved the designation of the sapphire gemstone for CosMeet, as the venue, The Cove, has encapsulated its essence while being a closed venue with a clear dome as its roof, showing how close it is to being an open sky. While there are a few ups and downs regarding the signal reception and high foot traffic for the booths and artist alley on both days, nevertheless, returning to The Cove of Okada Manila for their fourth outing returns an experience for those who have attended back in CosMeet 2023 and CosMeet 2024, respectively.
