Before the official first day of the collaboration, media affiliates here in the Philippines were invited by Cosplay.PH to get a first look on what’s in store with the Japanese boys-love drama manga series last August 7, 2026, at the Moshi Gran Cafe on the 5th floor, One Ayala Mall, Makati City.
One of our correspondents managed to attend the launch and here is what she has to share.
What is GIVEN-ギヴン

Given is a Japanese manga series created by Natsuki Kizu. It ran in the bimonthly manga magazine Chéri+ from 2013 until 2023 and has been compiled into nine tankōbon volumes by Shinshokan. The story follows four students who come together to form the amateur rock band Given, blending themes of music and emotional growth as their personal and romantic relationships evolve.
Vibes of the venue

Moshi Gran Cafe has this cozy feeling that makes you feel the vibe and chill which is very suitable for the 1st collab of the series here in the Philippines. The collaboration took inspiration from Japanese pop-ups and incorporated themed menu items. Most of the fans are very excited to try the themed drinks per character along with the freebies and limited merchandises.

The chibi characters displays really look so cute, especially the mini standees that make you look forward for the lottery raffle. I talked about the collab with my friends and they are really looking forward for this Given anime Pop Up Collab as a fan.
The signature drinks
The highlight of the collaboration centers on the themed drinks. There’s different drinks for each character: Mafuyu’s Strawberry, Ritsuka’s Blue Lychee Soda, Haruki’s Citrus Ginger Ale, Akihiko’s Grape Juice, Hiiragi’s Caramel Latte, Shizusumi’s Genmaicha.

I chose Ritsuka’s Blue Lychee Soda (at first I thought it was Blue Lemonade though) because I like blue, also I like Yuuma Uchida and his character here, I supposed to get Akihiko (since I’m a huge fan of Takuya Eguchi) but I thought it was lychee. Anyway, the drink is kind of minty and of course lychee. It was very good-but the next time I go to the cafe I will make sure to drink Akihiko’s drink.
Outro

About the merch, I am not really a fan of the keychains but it really looks so cute.
I hope in the future, there will be more cafe collaborations or pop up stores we can look forward to. Thank you Cosplay PH for organizing this wonderful event.
